- Aleksandra Baszczyńska, Przemysław Kabalski, Marzena Syper-Jędrzejak, Marta Nowak, and Joanna Szwajcar have conducted survey research on the scale, causes and effects of professional burnout in the audit profession. The research is under the patronage of the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors.
- Nelli Artienwicz, Elżbieta Jaworska, Dominika Korzeniowska, and Ewa Wanda Maruszewska are conducting a qualitative study (in-depth interviews) of accountants' reflections on gender predispositions for the accounting profession and the impact of accountants' mood, motivation, and work-related stress on the production of reporting information.
- Joanna Szwajcar is conducting survey research on professional burnout among accountants in connection with efforts and rewards at work (ERI model). The Accountants Association in Poland which sees ‛the need for a deeper diagnosis of this phenomenon’ has offered assistance in the form of disseminating the questionnaire among Polish accountants.
